Audi is a German car manufacturer that designs, technicians, produces, markets and redirects luxury vehicles. Audi runs worldwide functions from the headquarters in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. Audi-branded vehicles are produced in nine creation facilities worldwide.

The company name will be based upon the Asian translation of the label of the founder, July Horch. "Horch", meaning "listen" in German, becomes "audi" in Latin. The four rings of the Audi logo each represent one of four car companies that banded together to create Audi's predecessor company, Auto Union. Audi's spruch is Vorsprung durch Methode, meaning "Advancement through Technology". However, since 2007 Audi USA has used the slogan "Truth in Engineering". Audi, along with THE BMW and Mercedes are among the best-selling luxury vehicle brands on the earth
