Audi is a German auto manufacturer that designs, designers, produces, markets and sells luxury vehicles. Audi runs worldwide businesses from the headquarters in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. The company name will be based upon the Asian translation of the label of the founder, July Horch. "Horch", meaning "listen" in German, becomes "audi" in Latin. The four rings of the Audi logo each represent one of four car companies that banded together to create Audi's predecessor company, Auto Union. Audi's spruch is Vorsprung durch Methode, meaning "Advancement through Technology". However, since 2007 Audi USA has used the slogan "Truth in Engineering". Audi, along with AS BMW HYBRID and Mercedes are among the best-selling luxury vehicle brands on the earth
